How Are You Handling Online Learning Due To Covid-19

We are all going through the same process of converting our classes to online learning.  Typically this is something that takes months to plan for, and we are given a couple of weeks.  This blog is meant to be a place where we can share our ideas, and maybe a few of our frustrations, although it would be good to keep that to a minimum (Hey, what's Facebook for anyway!)

We hope you find this useful.

  1. I have landed on some content being asynchronous and set up by the course students are in as well as a question or problem of the day that all can interact with. It is a work in progress. I don't know how things will go if I need to take a day off or worse longer. No one else can take up the grading and planning for my content classes since everyone else has their own work to do.

  2. Have you found any resources that will take up some of the slack? When I was teaching math (I'm retired now), Kahn Academy was a great resource. It amazed me how many of my students loved Sal's lessons over my own.
